Tired of giving your kids the same garbage plastic toys that they demand because they saw them on YouTube, TV, or in a movie? Then you will want to attend the Adult’s Only Toy Event at the Santa Cruz Children’s Museum of Discovery this week!
The MOD will be open after normal hours (5:30-7:30 PM) on Wednesday, December 14th. Leave your kids behind, and come on down to enjoy hot mulled cider, nosh on some treats, and browse the MOD’s unique and distinctive set of toys that are designed not just for fun, but to help your children learn and grow too.
The museum has ordered a lot of new inventory just for this event. As always, there are member discounts on store merchandise, and in addition they will have additional discounts on specific items as well for members and non-members alike. When you’re done shopping for the kids, pick up something for yourself or another loved one – local jewelry designer Mindy Brown will also have distinctive jewelry for sale as well.
The Museum’s store features distinctive children’s educational and scientific toys, books, and games from some of your favorite toy brands including Plan Toys, Haba, USBorne, and Peaceable Kingdom.
