The end of the school year is right around the corner, so that means it’s time once again to start preparing for the World’s Shortest Parade! This year’s theme is “Team up for America”. As usual, there will be pancake breakfast from 7:00 to 10:00 AM in the parking lot of Burger. The parade itself will run from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, and then everyone is welcome for a community celebration in Aptos Village Park featuring vendors, food, music, and other activities until 4:00 PM.
Everyone knows that this is one of the biggest events we do in Aptos, but everyone may not know that everyone’s participation is welcome and encouraged, both for the parade and the celebration in the park afterwards. The event is sponsored by the Aptos Chamber of Commerce, and they have signup forms to be a vendor in the park (for a fee), and to participate in the parade itself (for a very token fee – and bands are free!).
This is a fantastic way to get local exposure for your business or organization. Hundreds – thousands?! – of people from our community will be there to root for you. Please consider participating to make 2016 the best 4th of July Parade ever!
