The Pino Alto Restaurant, located in the historic Sesnon House at Cabrillo College, is having a special menu on Friday, November 7. The menu is billed as Dinner with Jacob’s Farm and Alfaro Winery, and features four courses paired with four wines.
The evening starts at 6:00 with a reception and hors d’oeuvres before dinner is served at 6:30 PM. The menu is as follows:
- 1st Course: Seafood and Delicata squash risotto – Crab, shrimp and mussels
- 2nd Course: Orange, fig and gorgonzola salad
- Main course: Choice of Spice crusted Duck Breast with natural jus, roasted root vegetables, and walnut parsley fried rice -or- Pumpkin Lasagna
- Dessert: Apple bread pudding with chai spiced ice cream
The price for dinner is $65.00 and reservations can be made by calling 831-479-6524.
Jacob’s Farm is a local family-owned and operated organic farm in Santa Cruz, and is a supplier for Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, and many other local grocers. The Alfaro Winery is located in Corralitos on 75 acres and produces an extraordinary selection of wines including Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Noir, and Syrah.
